It’s funny trying to nail down what I want to do for this gallery show. Wind Waker Link is one of my favorites but a little too obvious for me to do (and his costume’s not as fun), so I’ve been trying to come up with a good mix between the child and adult Link styles. Also because I haven’t played as much of the adult Link games. Been reading a ton of the Zelda wikis and trying to remember everything I’ve ever learned about the whole franchise!
all mah cries. this weekend i got to engross myself in zelda (windwaker), but we had a bittersweet farewell this afternoon. i miss you, bb ; A ;
um. CUTE LINK DRAWINGS!<3<3
Continually reminded that there sure is a lot of detail in the things I make, even when it doesn’t seem so. Yet another example; carving away some rubylith for a screenprint for the awesome Triforce Tribute show at Land Gallery here in Portland next month.
This is two of…four or more layers? I’m hoping to toss in some sweet drybrush if I can; two rubylith layers may have to be my cutoff! It’s fun but it sure takes forever.

In Lodz, Polland, she created an installation called Abyssal (Depth) where she incorporated the gallery’s architecture, particularly its windows, to show a never-ending abyss one could actually walk on.
